Members of the Northeast Wisconsin Society incorporated
in 1954. We have Federal tax exempt status as a 501(c)3 organization.
We are one of over 500 local chapters of the National Audubon Society, including 14 chapters in Wisconsin. We have 1,060 member families that live in 8 counties and 55 communities throughout northeast Wisconsin.
Our board
of directors sets policies and, with the help of other members, carries
out the work of the Society. The board meets every third Wednesday
evening in public buildings in Green Bay, Appleton
and other locations in our area. All members are
welcome to attend board meetings.
